QPR Suicide Prevention Training
Question, Persuade, Refer — teaches skills to recognize warning signs of suicide and refer at-risk individuals to appropriate resources.
Time: 1–2 hours
MoCA Certification
Many clinics find it valuable for CHWs to be certified to administer the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). Certification costs approximately $150 and can be completed online.
Time: ~1 hour
Clinical Learning for CHWs Training Series
A 10-hour training series over 5 weeks offered by NWRPCA. Cost: $500.
Join the Columbia River CHW Collaborative
A regional network of CHWs convened monthly by the Columbia Gorge Health Council. Provides a learning community and collaborative network for all CHWs in the region.

Oregon Care Partners offers in-person and webinar-style training useful for CHWs and the families and caregivers they work with. Many courses qualify for CEUs.
